New generation of officers in charge of navigational watch join the Company
Traditionally every year in august new generation of graduates enroll the Companies officer’s body. Tree deck department graduates of the last Naval Academy alumni have joined in august this 2014. Boyan Toshkov Boyanov born in 1989, graduate of Provadia gymnasium acquired m.sc. degree and certification as an officer in charge of navigational watch. He already passed his training on several vessels of the Company – m/v “Lilyana Dimitrova” and m/v “Plana” and completed his first duty as a third mate on m/v “Georgi Grigorov”, now he is nominated as OOW on board m/v “Hemus” with a contract of 4 months. Boyan Boyanov is grateful to the masters of the vessels on which he passed his training for their help to get into the swing of the work and to adopt practical skills which was invaluable supplement to his theoretical schooling.
From 2012 Nikola Miroslavov Todorov is a scholarship student of the Company. He was born in Lovech, the city from which originates many officers of the naval and merchant fleet. It is no chance that in the city is one of the branches of Naval Academy Alumni Association. Nikola Todorov is second generation seaman. His father Miroslav Marinov is engineer OOW and his uncle Darin Marinov is long-standing master in the Company. Nikola Todorov is going to continue his training in the Company as assistant officer on board m/v “Midjur”.
Tsvetomil Iliyanov Iliev is also second generation seaman and a scholarship student of the Company. His father m.f.g. Iliyan Iliev sailed more than 10 years on board different vessels operated by the Company. Tsvetomil Iliev was a cadet on board m/v “Belasitza” and now is going to continue his training as assistant officer on board m/v “Bulgaria”.
